"Your off to great places. Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting so get on your way." by Dr. Seuss
On the first day of school we were all excited to start "climbing" up the mountain of life. The mountain would be full of struggles, responsibilities and exciting adventures but we were al prepared to start our climb knowing that our wonderful and intelligent teachers would be right by our side helping us through challenges. When we graduated from elementary school we finished climbing the first mountain in our life. We were all ready for the challenges that would come our way while climbing the next mountain in our life because our wonderful parents and teachers had prepared us. On the first day of middle school we started our climb. Throughout our years we made new friends and worked with new teachers. We had so struggles like a lot of homework and stressing for big tests like the U.S constitution test, the Illinois constitution test and finals but we made it. Now we all stand here together prepared for what new challenges high school will come with but we are also excited to start climbing our way through high school. Thank you to all my wonderful teachers, friends and family that have stayed with me through everything and helped me though every challenge that I have concurred.

Letter To 5th Grade Self
I remember being a 5th grader. I would always look up at the 8th graders and think wow their so cool I wish I could be a 8th grader. Now I'm wishing I could be a 5th grader again. 8th grade is nothing that I thought it would be. First off their is SOOOO much more homework. In 5th grade the only homework we got was spelling and now I do homework for over an hour every day. The home work is not that easy either. Also there are way more tests and quizzes in 8th grade. The only tests we would do is spelling each week or a math test and now in 8th grade their are finals and at least one test every week. Don't wish to be a 8th grader yet. You also have a lot more responsibilities so younger self do you still wish to be a 8th grader?
